Cavenaugh Quarter Horses

Purchased in 2018 at the Heritage Place Yearling Sale, Uncle D showed early he was a natural athlete and loved to run. He walked his way into the winner's circle four times out of six starts as a two-year-old. These wins included breaking his maiden in his first start during the Heritage Place trials in 2019, later finishing second in the finals. In July 2019 he went to the mountain, won his trial for Rainbow Futurity and took home his first stakes win in the finals. He ended his two- year-old year with a win in the All American Juvenile that fall. 

His career was spectacular and in January 2020 he was named named AQHA Racing Champion Two-year-old and AQHA Racing Champion Two-year-old Colt.

Uncle D retired from racing and now stands at Lazy E Ranch in Guthrie, Oklahoma. His first crop of foals arrived in 2022 and look outstanding. We are so excited about his foals that we are proud to offer the Smart Money $50,000 Incentive Program for the foals sired by Uncle D that foal in 2022, 2023 and 2024. These awards will be paid out to EACH Open Grade 1 Futurity or Derby winner.
