Cavenaugh Quarter Horses

Purchased in 2018 at the Heritage Place Yearling Sale, Uncle D showed early he was a natural athlete and loved to run. He walked his way into the winners circle four times from just six starts as a two-year-old. These wins included breaking his maiden in his first start during the Heritage Place trials in 2019, later finishing second in the finals. In July 2019 he went to the mountain, won his trial for Rainbow Futurity and took home his first stakes win in the finals. He ended his two- year-old year with a win in the All American Juvenile that fall.

His career was spectacular and in January 2020 he was named AQHA Racing Champion Two-Year-Old and AQHA Racing Champion Two-Year-Old Colt.

Uncle D retired from racing and started his career as a sire at Lazy E Ranch in Guthrie, OK. He has now moved to New Mexico for the 2026 breeding season and will stand at Prestige Equine in Roswell under the management of Renee Wilson.

From just two crops to race, he has produced over $2.6 million.
